RoveaLine (“RoveaLine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an iOS application and related Services for interior color work: capturing spaces, extracting palettes, organizing swatches, and restyling room photos with image-to-image generation. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use those Services.
Please read this Policy before using RoveaLine. Continued use means you understand these practices. If you do not agree, discontinue use. This Policy works together with our Terms of Service.
“Personal information” means information that identifies you by itself or when combined with other information available to us. It does not include information that cannot reasonably identify you, or aggregate statistics after individual identities have been removed. We may use and share aggregate and non-personal information without the restrictions that apply to personal information.
Part 1. Generation Ownership
RoveaLine’s image-to-image restyle capabilities are powered exclusively by self-developed AI models that we run ourselves. We do not outsource generation to third-party AI platforms, and we do not transmit your creative uploads to external AI vendors for inference, training, or retention on their systems.
On-device color extraction (palette sampling from a captured or selected photo) runs locally on your iPhone and does not require sending that photo to an AI vendor to produce a swatch card.
Part 2. Facial Data Stance
We do not collect facial data. RoveaLine does not gather or store facial biometrics, facial templates, or faceprints; does not identify or verify individuals by face; and does not create or share face-based profiles.
Your files may still be processed as whole interior photographs so our self-developed generators can restyle a room, or so the on-device extractor can read colors from a scene. That work is temporary, limited to the job, and governed by Part 5 deletion rules—not facial-data collection. RoveaLine is a home-color studio, not an identity or face-recognition product.
Part 3. Guest Profile
RoveaLine is used in guest mode. You do not create a registered account, and we do not collect Apple ID, Google, email, or password credentials. There is no server-side user record.
You may optionally set a display nickname and an avatar. That information is stored only on this device, together with palettes, spaces, and credits you save in the app. Support messages you send to us are the only profile-related content that may leave the device.
With your permission on iOS, we may access the camera or photos you select so you can extract palettes or restyle a space. You can revoke camera or Photos permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Part 4. Guest Data on This Device
Guest-mode data stays on the iPhone you are using. We do not store usernames, passwords, or third-party identity tokens for the Services described in this Policy. Use Settings → Delete Account to erase that local guest data. See Part 9 for deletion options.
Part 5. Upload Handling and Retention
To extract colors or start an image-to-image restyle, you provide a source photo of a space (and, for restyle, a palette you select). We request camera or photo-library access only as needed for the feature.
Image-to-image processing requires a network connection and occurs on our servers. Media is transmitted using encryption. We protect transit with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) or equivalent transport security.
Source media is used only to produce the palette or restyled image you requested. When generation completes, inputs are deleted promptly and cannot be recovered. Uploads are not used to train our models and are not provided to third-party platforms for their own purposes.
Palettes, notes, and images you save into your on-device Archive remain on this device until you delete them or erase your guest data from Settings.
Please save generated outputs without delay if you also keep a server-side copy. Results retained on our platform are automatically deleted within 48 hours after generation and cannot be restored. You are responsible for losses from failing to save in time; RoveaLine is not liable for such losses.
Part 6. Technical Collection
App use may create technical records such as log data (navigation, IP address, timestamps), device type/model and OS version, language and region settings, in-app interaction data, and crash or diagnostic logs. We use these records to operate the Services, maintain security, ensure reliable performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.
Part 7. Device Permission Requests
Camera and photo-library access, when required, is requested only with your consent. You may modify or withdraw consent later in iOS Settings.
Part 8. Tracking Transparency on iOS
If integrated services need the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), RoveaLine may ask permission to Allow Tracking under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. Choosing Allow or Ask App Not to Track does not prevent use of capture, palette, or generation features.
If you allow tracking, partners may process IDFA and similar identifiers, app install and event data, basic device information, and interaction or performance signals for analytics or attribution.
Tracking-related data is used only for measuring advertising performance, preventing fraudulent activity, install attribution, and optimizing marketing campaigns. We do not use tracking data to personally identify you or to build separate behavioral profiles for our own profiling. We do not collect facial data.
Update your choice anytime: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → RoveaLine.
Part 9. How We Use Data, Limits on Sharing, Security, and Deletion
We use personal information and service data to communicate with you; process requests and in-app purchases; operate and improve the Services; customize aspects of the experience where appropriate; support product development; and for other purposes related to our business consistent with this Policy.
We disclose personal information only if you or your legally authorized representative consent; if disclosure is required by applicable law; or if disclosure is required by a valid warrant, subpoena, or similar order from a court of competent jurisdiction. We do not disclose generation uploads unless you share them (and/or the results) yourself through RoveaLine or another service you choose.
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access and improper use. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
You may update nickname, avatar, and saved palettes in the app at any time. Settings → Delete Account erases guest data on this device—palettes, spaces, credits, and profile—subject to limited legal or security exceptions. Guest mode has no remote user record to close. If you need help clearing data, email support@rovealine.com.
Part 10. Credits and Refunds via the App Store
RoveaLine sells consumable credits for color extraction and image-to-image restyle. In-app purchase refunds follow Apple’s App Store terms and standard procedures, including Apple Support and reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not override Apple’s determination.
Part 11. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes we believe materially affect your rights, we will post the updated Policy where RoveaLine policies are published. Please review this Policy when you use the Services.
Part 12. Rights and Users Under 13
Depending on applicable law, you may request a copy of your personal data; ask us to correct, delete, or restrict processing; receive personal data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format and ask us to transmit it to another controller where feasible; and object to certain processing, including direct marketing in many regions. Rights may be limited in some cases. Contact us to exercise rights. You may also complain to a supervisory authority where you live, work, or where you believe an issue occurred.
If you are a minor, use RoveaLine only with prior consent of a parent or legal guardian. Under COPPA, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The Services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn we collected such information without required consent, we will delete it promptly. Contact support@rovealine.com if you believe we have information from or about a child under 13.
